What’s New for 2024?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue has had an extensive refresh for this model year with ample styling and technology improvements.

Some notable updates include:

  • A fancier V-motion grille which makes a bolder statement
  • New daytime running lights and turn signal with accent
  • Reflector LED headlights
  • New wheel options
  • Several two-tone configurations with a black roof
  • Revised rear bumper
  • 3-inch touchscreen in SL and Platinum models
  • Nissan Connect is now offered for a three-year trial period instead of six months

Now, let’s take a look at safety and tech features!

Safety & Technology

Because it is a family SUV, Nissan has included standard safety features throughout the lineup including:

  • Forward emergency braking
  • Auto high beams
  • Lane-keeping assist
  • Adaptive cruise control

On the inside, there are even more exciting updates that we have to mention including:

  • Smart entry system
  • 3-inch touchscreen in SL and Platinum models
  • USB Type-C ports, which allow for faster device charging
  • Standard wireless charging in the SL and Platinum models
  • Flat-bottomed steering wheel with manual tilt and telescoping
  • Heated steering wheel in Platinum models
  • Deep split opening center console
  • Center pass-through to fit a purse, bag, or laptop
  • Electronic style shifter knob
  • Three-zone automatic climate control
  • High-end Bose sound system
  • Auto-dimming mirror

Nissan has expanded the availability of the fully digital gauge cluster to include trim levels lower than the Platinum grade. It also comes equipped with a head-up display, which many of the Rogue’s competitors do not offer.

When shifting to reverse, the Around View Monitor 360 backup camera system is enabled with improved resolution giving you a nice high-resolution picture as you backup.

The three-zone automatic climate control is another outlier, we don’t often see this feature in vehicles like the RAV4 or the CR-V.

The 12.3-inch touchscreen in the Platinum trim is a big improvement in 2024. With a Google-based system, it seamlessly integrates with Google Maps right in the display with unmatched responsiveness and resolution.

So, How Does it Stack Up Against the Competition?

With several features that are unavailable in the RAV4 and the CR-V, the Rogue offers more convenience, comfort, and safety than most of its competitors in the compact SUV market.

Plus, the Rogue offers better performance than the CR-V with 201 horsepower. The RAV4 slightly edges the Rogue out with 203 horsepower, but the Rogue’s other performance and technology features more than make up for a few horsepower.

Bottom Line

If you are in the market for a new compact SUV, the 2024 Nissan Rogue should be at the top of your list to check out in more depth. With upgraded exterior features, two-tone color options, and several enticing safety and technology features, the Rogue stands out from the others in the pack!
