You can also opt for a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and wireless chagrin pad with the 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek.
Other standard features include SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and some voice controls. The Rock Creek also has a surround-view camera system with Off-Road mode to help navigate trails.

- Automated emergency braking with pedestrian protection

There are likely to be more standard safety systems added.
Performance
The 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that creates 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.
With this engine, the Pathfinder Rock Creek can accelerate from 0-60 in about 6.6 seconds, faster than the Kia Telluride or Toyota Highlander. It can also tow up to 6,000 pounds while the Telluride maxes out at 5,000.
The Pathfinder Rock Creek’s roof rack can hold 220 pounds and it comes with a tow hitch, wiring harness, LED fog lights, second-row captain’s chairs, and a 360-degree surround-view camera as standard features.
Nissan has also said that revised fuel mapping means that the 3.5-liter V6 adds an extra 11 horsepower and 11 pound-ft of torque when using premium fuel. This upgrade is only available on the Pathfinder Rock Creek, so the other 2023 models will have the same 284 horsepower as before.
Interior
Inside, the Pathfinder Rock Creek has leatherette and fabric upholstery with embroidered Rock Creek logos on the seats contrasted with orange stitching throughout.
It also comes standard with 8-passenger seating, with the standard third-row seat and second-row bench, but buyers can opt for second-row captain’s chairs, but this cuts seating to seven.
Off-Roading Upgrades
The Rock Creek package includes a suspension lift, different wheels and tires, a rook rack, and black styling features with contrasting orange stitching.
You also get standard all-wheel-drive capabilities and a 0.6-inch suspension lift. Ground clearance sits at about 7.8 inches, and it rides on 18-inch Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires.
The Pathfinder Rock Creek’s intelligent 4WD system offers seven Drive and Terrain modes including:
- Standard
- Sport
- Eco
- Sand
- Snow
- Mud/Rut
- Row
Safety
While the 2023 Pathfinder has not been crash-tested yet, the 2022 model scored well in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) evaluations. It earned “Good” scores in most crash-test categories.
