5 Reasons to Buy the All-New 2022 Nissan Rogue Turbo Post

The 2022 Nissan Rogue is an SUV that appeals to many buyers. It has two rows of seats, ample cargo space, and is very reliable. Beyond this, it has new impressive high-tech components and a new turbo engine that is sure to push it to the top.

Here are our top five reasons to buy the all-new 2022 Nissan Rogue Turbo!

What’s New for 2022?

For 2022, Nissan made a big change under the Rogue’s hood. Instead of using a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine like in previous years, it now has a slightly smaller turbocharged 3-cylinder engine.

As a result, the horsepower has been increased by 20.

Top Reasons to Buy the 2022 Nissan Rogue Turbo

Here are five of our top reasons (other than the new turbocharged engine) to buy the 2022 Rogue Turbo!

#1. The 2022 Nissan Rogue Turbo Can Handle Difficult Conditions

All trims of the Rogue are available with all-wheel drive. When the system is engaged, traction is improved, since power is sent to both the front and rear axles.

There are also Snow and Off-Road modes that can be selected if road conditions call for them. To switch between modes, the driver can use the drive mode selector that is conveniently placed in the center console area.

#2. Efficiency

While the Rogue is not a hybrid model, it gets great gas mileage. A front-wheel-drive Rogue earns up to 37 miles per gallon on the highway, while in the city it gets 30.

With all-wheel drive, it gets 34 mpg on the highway, and 28 in the city.

#3. Plenty of Space

The Nissan Rogue has two rows of cargo and passenger space, with 38.5 inches of second-row legroom. Its rear cargo area has a volume of 36.5 feet that expands down to 74 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down.

#4. Enhanced Technology

Every Rogue comes with two displays. The first shows speed, range, and tire pressure, and is integrated into the dashboard right in front of the steering wheel.

The second is an infotainment touchscreen that measures eight inches on the first three trim levels and nine inches on the Platinum trim. The standard infotainment package comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM. Bluetooth, voice recognition, and hands-free text messaging are standard as well.

Further, the Rogue comes with multiple USB ports that allow you to charge on the go. The Platinum model offers wireless charging.

There are also several convenient elements that are found on the exterior of the Rogue. Its side mirrors have built-in heaters and LED turn signals, and it has an optional power-operated or motion-activated liftgate.

Some models also come with tri-zone automatic climate control, and all have rear passenger air vents.

Higher trims like the SL and the Platinum get dual-panel panoramic sunroofs, leather seats, power-adjustable front seats, and lumbar support and memory functions on the driver’s seat.

#5. Safety

The new Rogue is full of driver-assistance technologies with automatic emergency braking, and rear automatic braking, plus several warning systems, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning, to keep you and your passengers safer.

On higher trims, the Rogue offers Intelligent Lane Intervention, which warns drivers if they are drifting out of position and can help correct the situation by adjusting their steering.
