What is Nissan’s Extended Warranty Coverage?

All Nissan vehicles come with a new vehicle factory warranty which covers up to 36,000 miles or three years. Also, it includes powertrain coverage for 60,000 miles or 5 years.

All of Nissan’s extended warranties come with emergency roadside assistance coverage. If buyers purchase Gold or Silver Preferred plans, they’ll also get coverage for trip interruption, supplemental towing, and rental reimbursement.

• Emergency Roadside Assistance: Nissan provides 24/7 roadside assistance. This includes services such as fuel delivery, flat tire replacements, battery jumpstarts, and lockout assistance.

• Trip Interruption: This provides reimbursement for alternate transportation such as a rideshare service or Taxi, plus meals or hotel stays if a breakdown occurs 100+ miles from home.

• Supplemental Towing: Under Silver and Gold plans, this is restricted to towing for breakdowns caused by covered repairs only.

What is Excluded?

There are some exclusions included in Nissan’s extended warranty plans, as most warranties do. For one, none of the plans cover filter replacements or oil changes, wiper blades, brake pads, or tire treads. These are considered routine maintenance so they are not covered.
