Just How Useful Is NissanConnect Roadside Assistance?
If you’ve ever been cruising down the highway when suddenly, your trip is brought to an abrupt halt by a flat tire or other issue, you know all too well how stressful it can be to be stranded on the side of the road.
In times like these, having access to reliable roadside assistance, like NissanConnect’s Roadside Assistance service, can make all the difference. But how useful is this service? Our team at Maus Nissan of North Tampa explores what makes it so special!
What is NissanConnect?
NissanConnect is powered by SiriusXM® and works by transmitting your coordinates through your GPS to the Roadside Assistance provider, no matter where you’re at.
Nissan Roadside Assistance
So what exactly does Roadside Assistance include? A lot!

- Roadside Assistance: You can access roadside assistance coverage on your Nissan for 36 months or 36,000 miles.
- Jump Start: If your car’s battery is dead due to leaving a light on inside the cabin overnight, a service representative will come out and give you a quick jump start.
- Lockout Service: Nissan Roadside Assistance can quickly get you back inside your car if you accidentally lock your keys inside.
- Fuel: If you run out of gas, Roadside Assistance will come out a fill up your car with two gallons of gas, so you can drive to the nearest gas station for a refill.
- Tire Change: If you get a flat tire, a service technician will assist in replacing the tire with a spare or repairing it.
- Lodging & Transportation: If you are more than 100 miles from home and run into an issue with your Nissan, this will cover you for meals, lodging, transportation, and more after any warranty repair costs are covered.
