Performance

The Frontier’s 380-liter direction-injection V6 engine offers 310 horsepower and a 9-speed automatic transmission. Together, these provide maximum performance and strong acceleration on the road.

Thoughtful design makes for a much smoother efficient ride. New front and rear suspension offer better handling on, and off-road, and new hydraulic cab mounts reduce road vibration by 80 percent. Confident stopping power comes from standard 4-wheel ABS disc brakes.

Hill Start Assist and Descent Control come standard on the Frontier, and 4WD models feature a shift on the fly 4WD system and a limited-slip system for low traction surfaces and challenging terrain.

Finally, the Frontier offers a Utility-track Channel System for flexibility when hauling cargo. Plus, four tie-down hooks can help secure gear or equipment of any size or shape. The 2022 Frontier’s towing capacity is rated at 6,720 pounds which is plenty for hauling trailers, boats, and ATVs.
