What’s The Most Affordable Twin-Turbo Sports Car?
If you’re searching for a vehicle that offers enhanced performance, a sleek design, and a twin-turbo, you’re in the right place! The 2025 Nissan Z is one of the most exciting yet affordable sports cars on the market today.
Our team at Maus Nissan of North Tampa shares what makes the Z so special and highlights some of our favorite features with help from our friend at Raiti’s Rides.
The 2025 Nissan Z: Performance
The Nissan Z comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. If you purchase the NISMO, the performance stats jump to 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. It also gets a limited-slip differential, larger brakes, and a stiffer suspension system.
The standard Z can be had with a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission, while the NISMO only offers the automatic transmission.
The standard Z can go from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds with the automatic transmission, and the NISMO can do it in 3.9 seconds.

Interior Features
In true sports-car fashion, the Z’s interior has a two-seat coupe arrangement, and its cabin is furnished with premium materials and features like power-adjustable seats and dual-zone automatic climate control.
If you’re looking for analog features, the boost pressure and turbo speed gauges sit atop the dashboard.
While sports cars aren’t well-known for their cargo capabilities, you get around 6.9 cubic feet of space, enough for some groceries or a couple of weekend getaway bags.
Technology + Infotainment
Nissan has added a ton of technology features to the 2025 Z, including:
- An 8.0-inch infotainment display or an optional 9.0-inch unit with navigation
- A 12.3-inch digital gauge display
- SiriusXM satellite radio
- Apple CarPlay
- Android Auto
- Standard six-speaker stereo
If you want to upgrade, you can get a premium audio system from Bose as well as an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot.
Safety Features
The 2025 Z is equipped with several standard driver-assistance features, like:
- Automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
- Standard lane-departure warning
- Standard adaptive cruise control
And these are just a few of them, there are plenty more driver assistance features to take advantage of.
Value
The best thing about the Nissan Z is its value. Getting into a sports car can be quite costly, but the Z is one of the most affordable twin-turbo sports cars out there. The base Sport model comes in at $42,970 MSRP, the Performance trim at $52,970, and the NISMO at $65,351.
