What’s New for 2024?

The Rogue has received a makeover for the 2024 model year, with a new grille, wheels, and a revised rear bumper. In the cabin, there are also a handful of updates, and the biggest change is the 12.3-inch touchscreen with a Google-based infotainment system and apps.

Nissan Connect now includes a three-year trial period, a change from before when they offered six months.

Plus, several new colors are available including:

• Everest White Pearl
• Deep Ocean Blue Pearl
• Baja Storm
• Several two-tone configurations with a black roof

Interior

The Rogue borrows interior styling cues from the Altima and Sentra sedans. There are thoughtful storage cubbies throughout, a bi-level dashboard, and a squared-off shifter knob.

Cloth seating comes standard, but the SV model offers optional faux-leather upholstery while the SL and Platinum terms get genuine leather.

Available features include:

• Three-zone automatic climate control
• Heated front seats
• A heated steering wheel

To further enhance this SUV, Nissan included several thoughtful storage solutions and ample cargo space with up to 36.5 cubic feet behind the second row, or 74.1 cubic feet with the second row folded down.

Technology + Safety

Front and center on the dashboard is the Rogue’s touchscreen infotainment system. The 8.0-inch is standard, but the larger 12.3-inch screen is standard on the SL and Platinum models. This is the first Nissan vehicle that comes equipped with Google-based software built right in, and its interface is sleeker than ever before.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard while in-dash navigation and a Bose stereo system are optional. There is also a 10.8-inch head-up display and a wireless smartphone charging pad.

Safety-wise, the Rogue is packed with standard driver assistance features including but not limited to:

• Standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
• Standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert
• Available adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode

Nissan’s ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous driving mode is offered as an upgrade on the Rogue SL and standard on the Platinum trim.

Performance

With a turbocharged three-cylinder engine, the Rogue has been rated for 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. Choosing the all-wheel drive option reduces the mpg estimates to 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The Platinum trim reduces the on-highway mpg down to 34 mpg.
