2025 Nissan Ariya

The Ariya is Nissan’s first all-electric SUV, and it is the perfect blend of modernity, enhanced features, and a striking exterior design.

For 2025, the lineup has been streamlined, and Nissan dropped the Venture front-wheel drive and the Empower+ trim levels. All models now come with wireless phone charging and privacy glass, and the rear USB ports have been upgraded from USB-A to USB-C.

Performance + Battery

Single-motor Ariya models can reach 60 mph in 7.2 seconds, while dual-motor models with all-wheel drive e-4orce versions can do it in just 4.8 seconds.

The base Engage model is equipped with a 63-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, while the rest of the models come with an 87-kWh unit. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive options are available.

Most buyers opt for the larger 87-kWh battery, which is rated for 272 miles per charge. When charging, the Ariya can charge from 10-80% in 40 minutes on a public DC fast charger.

ProPilot Assist 2.0

We love ProPilot Assist 2.0, which is Nissan’s semi self-driving system. When the display found on the dashboard is white, it means that adaptive cruise control is engaged. Green means that steering assist is equipped. When it turns blue, it means that the driver can take their hands off the wheel.

In hands-free mode, the Ariya can execute a lane change, but the driver must have their hands on the wheel until it is done.

Notable Features

The Ariya has a simple and elegant interior design with a large infotainment touchscreen and Nissan’s comfy Zero-Gravity seats. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging come standard, as well as in-dash navigation. A head-up display system is optional.

There are several safety features included in the 2025 Nissan Ariya, including:

• Standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
• Standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist
• Available adaptive cruise control with a hands-free driving mode
