Even though this year’s model still uses last year’s platform, the 2025 Nissan Murano still feels like it has been updated. Its exterior has been redesigned, and the interior has been decked out in the latest technology. Plus, it gets a new turbocharged engine that makes it feel even more exciting when behind the wheel.

The interior, let’s just say, is stunning! With subtle wood accents that line the dashboard and two 12.3-inch screens that sit on the dash, the interior is clean and modern. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are a bonus.

Driving Experience

The 2025 Murano offers a smooth driving experience with responsive performance and handling. The new engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that creates 241 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Also, drivers can expect 23 miles per gallon in the city and 24 on the highway.

When driving, the throttle response is peppy, and the new engine gives the Murano enough oomph for highway passing and onramp merging.

Front-wheel drive is standard on the base SV model, while the higher trims like the SL and Platinum get all-wheel drive at no extra cost.

And we can’t forget to mention the cabin! Due to sound-dampening technology, the interior is so quiet that barely any noise makes it into the cabin even when driving at highway speeds.
