What is ProPilot Assist 2.1?

This system uses traffic data and mapping to help drivers navigate lane changes, pass other vehicles, and exit highways.

It features:

Hands-Free Driving

Will take over steering acceleration, and braking on system-compatible roads.

Traffic Jam Assist

In slow-moving traffic, this system allows for hands-free driving and will assist in traffic jams.

Automatic Lane Change

When prompted, the system can change lanes automatically.

Navigation

The system can use navigation information to adjust the vehicle’s speed when driving through curves or interchanges.

Exit Guidance

The system can help drivers safely take exits off the highway

Remember, ProPilot Assist 2.1 requires that drivers remain attentive and keep their eyes on the road at all times.

Compatibility

It is important to note that ProPilot Assist 2.1 works only on compatible roads, which are controlled-access motorways in the lower 48 United States and the District of Columbia.

Currently, this feature is only available on the Rogue SL and Platinum trims, as well as the Armada, though Nissan has plans to upgrade more vehicles in the future.
