What’s New In the 2025 Nissan Frontier

If you’re looking to purchase a new truck, the 2025 Nissan Frontier should be on your radar. With amazing technology, impressive performance specs, and robust driver assistance features, the Frontier exceeds driver’s expectations and then some!

Our team at Maus Nissan of North Tampa shares a quick look at what’s new for 2025 with a little help from our friends at The Fast Lane Truck. Let’s get into it!

What’s New?

For 2025, Nissan listened closely to custom feedback and made several small adjustments that take the 2025 model to the next level.

Changes include:

  • A telescopic-adjusting steering comes standard on all grades
  • A four-way passenger seat is now standard on the PRO-X/PRO-4X and SL grades
  • A six-way power driver’s seat has two-way power lumbar on the SV trims and higher
  • A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen has been added to the SV trim and higher
  • Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included

Plus, all Frontier trim levels come with sliding rear windows and a sunglasses holder in the cabin as standard features.

Performance Boosts

The Frontier comes equipped with a powerful naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear or four-wheel drive.

The maximum towing capacity of the 2025 Frontier comes in at 7150 pounds, and its improved suspension system offers better handling and a smoother ride, whether you’re on the highway or off on an adventure.

Interior Comfort and Design

When you sit inside the 2025 Nissan Frontier, you’ll see a thoughtfully designed interior with luxurious-looking trim pieces, soft-touch surfaces, and more modern features than previous iterations.

The gauge cluster is both analog and digital with a 7.0-inch color display. Plus, for an upgrade, drivers can purchase a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. Nissan has infused the cabin with comfort by installing their Zero Gravity seats that are perfect for long road trips and commuting.

If drivers need to haul something, the Frontier’s wheelbase lengths offer either a short (5 feet) or long (a little over six feet) cargo bed.

Advanced Technology Features

Nissan never skimps on technology features, and this is apparent in the Nissan Frontier. Its infotainment system comes in at 8.0 inches but there is also an optional 12.3-inch touchscreen as well. Drivers can also get a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless smartphone charging.

If drivers upgrade to the Frontier PRO-4X, the Intelligent Around View Monitor with Off-Road modes is a big advantage. This helps drivers spot obstacles wherever the road takes them.

Safety First

Safety is always at the forefront of Nissan’s designs; the 2025 Frontier doesn’t skimp here either. This model comes with several standard driver assistance technologies under the umbrella of the Nissan Safety Shield 360 including:

  • Lane departure warning
  • Blind spot warning
  • Rear cross-traffic alert
  • Rear parking sensors
  • High beam assist
  • Intelligent cruise control

The SL also comes with Traffic Sign Recognition.
