Why The 2024 Nissan Ariya Just Got A Whole Lot Better

April 5th, 2024 by

Just when we thought the 2024 Nissan Ariya couldn’t get any better…it did! How? Well, there have been significant decreases in pricing for all trims in the Ariya lineup. Nissan stated that they are making these price adjustments to appeal to a wider audience of electric vehicle buyers, and our team at Maus Nissan of North Tampa couldn’t be happier about it.

This means more people will have access to Nissan’s eco-friendly vehicles, and that makes us proud! Let’s explore what’s changed for 2024, not just with pricing, but if there are any feature updates amongst Ariya models.

What’s New for 2024?

First, let’s talk pricing. The 2024 Engage front-wheel-drive trim level of the Ariya comes with a starting price of $40,980. This is a $3,575 reduction from the 2023 model! Plus, prices on most of the other Ariya trims have been reduced by nearly $6,000 for the 2024 model year.

Nissan also got rid of the Platinum all-wheel drive trim, that was included in the 2023 lineup.

Any Updates for 2024?

Other than significant price cuts, there haven’t been many major changes to the Ariya for the 2024 model year. It is a new EV after all.

One major thing that we have to note is that since Nissan adopted the NACS port, this makes the Ariya able to utilize chargers in Tesla’s Supercharger network with an easy adapter. Plus, for the 2025 model year, the Ariya will come equipped with a NACS port so the adapter won’t be needed moving forward.

Our Favorite 2024 Ariya Features

One of our favorite features is the Ariya’s cutting-edge ProPILOT Assist 2.0 technology, which offers advanced driver assistance for a safer driving experience. This system includes features like adaptive cruise control and lane centering, giving drivers peace of mind no matter what happens on the road ahead.

We can’t forget to mention Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 suite which includes safety features such as automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and more.

Performance-wise, the Ariya is powered by an innovative e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system that provides optimal traction and stability in various driving conditions. The electric dual-motor setup delivers instant torque and impressive acceleration while maintaining smooth handling.

Plus, it has an estimated range of up to 300 miles on a single charge, which is quite impressive for the crossover electric SUV segment.

Bottom Line

If Nissan’s new pricing isn’t enough to get you interested in the Ariya, its high-tech safety and driver’s assistance features likely will. Plus, now that Ariya drivers have access to the Tesla Supercharger network, they won’t be limited by where and when they can charge up their Ariya’s, which in our opinion seals the deal!
